My first typographical name logo is in a serif font. I chose the shades of green as I think they suit my lifestyle as I am very nature oriented as I have an allotment. I love growing my own produce such as sweetcorn and pumpkins. I also love being with nature and walk often with my dog through fields and forests so shades of green match perfectly with my personality and “The color green represents our connection to both the natural world and our inner landscape of growth and transformation.” (Becky Prater 2012) Which I emphasised though the ‘W’ in replacement of the ‘tittle’ of the ‘I’ was done purposefully to merge both my first and last name in a simple yet effective way, the yellow reflecting growth, making the letter look like a blossoming flower. I have moved each letter closer together to create a complete logo which is compact and looks well put together with the ‘I’ transforming my name into a logo that is short but still captures who I am as a person.

My second typographical name logo is navy blue and orange which symbolise the night sky as I love the stars and the moon and my favourite time of the year is autumn. However, the symbols are also a link to my favourite Halloween movie, Coraline (because Coraline has a navy jumper with stars on it which I have tried to capture the colours of). So, although simple, the logo reveals my personal interests. The symbol of stars and the moon (which I created through 2 circles) are done as recognisable symbols which work for a logo as well as linking to my personality as I like astrology and stargazing. This is also a serif font, and I have used it for an established, elegant look. I chose to move the letters closer together on adobe illustrator to create a compact logo which would be recognisable due to the colours and symbols which stand out.
